Adam"THE WAY TO EDEN" LYRICS.

In the Original Star Trek episode "The Way to Eden," the followers of the One hijacked the Enterprise, led by Dr. Sevrin, looking for the mythical planet Eden. While on the way the space hippies got down and jammed with Spock. It was groovy. Their group included Ton Sevrin, Adam, Tongo Rad, Mavig and Irina Galliulin. Spock sat in on the Vulcan lute for a few sessions. You'd have to be a Herbert not to appreciate this. I reach.
The lyrics on the left are transribed right from recording of the episode, and the right are the lyrics in the original scripts before shooting, as transribed in "The Way to Eden" novelization by James Blish
Good Land (as performed by Adam in "The Way to Eden")

Looking for the good land
Going astray
Don't cry,
Don't cry
Oh I can't have honey and I can't have cream
Gonna live, not die
Gonna live, not die
I'll stand in the middle of it all one day,
I'll look at it shining all around me and say
I'm here!
I'm here!
In the good land
In the new land
I'm here!

Good Land (from "The Way To Eden" script, as transcribed by James Blish)

Looking for the new land
Losing my way
Looking for the good land
Going astray
Don't cry,
Don't cry
Oh I can't have honey and I can't have cream
But the dream that's in me, it isn't a dream
It'll live, not die
It'll live, not die
I'll stand in the middle of it all one day,
I'll look at it all shining all around me and say
I'm here!
I'm here!
In the new land,
In the good land,
I'm here!

I'm Talking About You (as performed by Adam and Irina  in "The Way to Eden")
Adam in yellow, Mavig in red, altogether in orange

I'm talking about you
I'm talking about me
Long time back when the Galaxy was new,
Man found out what he had to do
Found he had to eat and he found he had to drink
And a long time later he found he had to think
Uh-huh
Yes fate
I'm standing here wondering.
What?
If a man tells another man, 'Out of my way'
Piles up trouble for himself all day
But all kinds of trouble come to an end
When a man tells another man, 'Be my friend'
Uh-huh
My friend
Well, what's it going to be?
There's a mile-wide emptiness between you and me
Can't reach across it, or even see
Someone has to take a step, one way or other
Let's say goodbye, or lets say brother
Brother
Brother
Hey out there
Hey out there
Hey out there
Hey out there
I see you
I see you
I see you
I see you
Let's get together and have some fun
I don't know how to do it but it's got to be done

They must have hada good jam on the set because there's a lot more in the recording than there was in the scripted lyrics

Heading to Eden (as performed by Adam in "The Way to Eden")

Heading out to Eden
Yea brother
Heading out to Eden
No more trouble in my body or my mind
Gonna live like a king on whatever I find
Eat all the fruit and throw away the rind
Yea brother, yea

There were a few other gems that Adam belted out along his path to reach.

Stiff man putting my mind in jail
Judge bangs the gavel and says
No bail
So I'll lick his hand and wag my tail

I'll crack my knuckles and jump for joy
Got a clean bill of health from Dr. McCoy

Here is the Jam Session of Spock on harp and the space hippie guitar
