Creature that inhabited Sha Ka Ree. ("The Final Frontier" [Movie #5]). The God-creature was played by George Murdock, who also portrayed Admiral Hanson in "The Best of Both Worlds" [TNG #74].
Goddard.
Type 6 shuttlecraft, shuttle 15 aboard the starship Enterprise-D. This vessel was assigned, in an extended loan, to semi-retired Captain Montgomery Scott after the craft he was traveling in, the U.S.S. Jenolen, was destroyed rescuing the Enterprise-D from hazards within a Dyson Sphere. ("Relics" [TNG]). The Goddard was named for American scientist Robert H. Goddard (1882-1945), inventor of the liquid feld rocket.

In a possible future timeline, a Starfleet cadet who is the daughter of Kamilah Goldstein.
Goldstein, Kamilah.
Cadet first-class at Starfleet Academy in Omega Squadron under the command of Commander Zund. Kamilah was made the leader of Omega Squadron and was a very promising student. Kamilah was a Terran, from Earth's middle east region, the daughter of an Arab and a Jew. Kamilah recognized that her parent's peoples were once bitter enemies, and took it as proof that any sentient beings could live in harmony, an attitude that took her far in the world of intercultural relations required of the pre-war Starfleet Academy. Ironically, Goldstein's idealism came to an end when she was killed in 2372 when involved in combat with Kovold, a member of the Klingon training team First Cadre. Kamilah's best friend, Cadet Pava Ek'noor, swore that she would kill Kovold, who was her former lover, for the death. ("Prime Directives" [Marvel SA #1]).

Gomez, Sonya.
Starfleet commander, executive officer of the starship da Vinci. Gomez, a career engineer, heads up that vessels teams of Starfleet Corps of Engineers specialists. Gomez' fist assignment was as an engineering ensign on the starship Enterprise-D. In 2367, Gomez assisted in a training mission aboard the starship Tubman-B and saved a crew of cadets from Catarr attackers after LaForge was injured. ("Q Who?" [TNG]; "Samaritan Snare" [TNG]; "Wet Behind the Ears" [DC TNG vol.2 #32]).

Starfleet lieutenant commander, chief engineer of the starship Charleston. Graal is a Craynid, and had previously served aboard the Saratoga until 2367. He was one of the survivors to escape that vessel after the battle of Wolf 359. ("Saratoga" [TOS #18]).
Grand Regent's Celebration.
Event of the Grand Regent of Alpha Centauri VII. The celebration recieved representatives of Starfleet from the strike cruiser Sovereign in 2289. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol.1).
Grant, Joshua Mulrone
Captain of the USS Galahad. He violated the Prime Directive during the first contact with Shiva Omicron IV. To end a war between the inhabitants of the planet he stunned one party, which led do a massacre. ("Judgment Rites" [Interplay TOS]).

gravitic mine.
Navigational hazard that occurs naturally in complex high gravity star systems, or as the result of intentional sabotage. A gravitic mine is any of several type of undetectable but dangerous gravity fields which can be generated without the knowledge of passing starships, and cause severe damage to their hulls as they pass within its influence. ("The Wrath of Khan" [Movie #2]; "The Kobayashi Maru" [Pocket TOS]).

Federatiuon starship, a frigate. This ship participated in the 2260s Great Starship Race, commanded by Captain Hans Tahl. ("The Great Starship Race" [Pocket TOS #67]).
Great Smokey, U.S.S.
Federation starship, Steamrunner-class frigate. The Great Smokey engaged Tholian units in a perimeter action at Draconis IX in 2371. ("The Price of Freedom" [LUG TNG RPG]).
Grebnedlog.
Commanding officer of the Pakled spaceship Mondor. ("Samaritan Snare" [TNG]).
Greyhorse, Carter.
Chief medical officer of the starship Stargazer under Jean-Luc Picard. Subsequently to the Stargazer's loss, Greyhorse served at Starfleet Medical. ("Reunion" [Pocket TNG HC #3]).

Squadron of vessels stationed along the Neutral Zone during the Romulan expansion of the late 2260's. The U.S.S. Essex was part of this group. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol.1).

Malon worker aboard the tanker Apsac. Gril died when his vessel was preyed upon by a Hirogen alpha in 2376, ("Demons of Air and Darkness" [Pocket Gateways #4]).
Grimes.
Crewman on the starship Voyager. Grimes took over the conn position when Commander Chakotay judged Lt. Paris unfit for duty. ("Investigations" [VGR #35]).
Grin'ki-class.
Type of Federation starship, classified as a tender.  The Grin'ki and Achaea are of this design. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol.1).
Grissom, U.S.S.
Federation starship, Oberth-class, Starfleet registry NCC-638. Commanded by Captain J.T. Esteban. The Grissom was dispatched to the Genesis planet with Lieutenant Saavik and Dr. David Marcus in 2285 to investigate the creation of that planet by the Genesis torpedo. The ship was later destroyed by Kruge's bird-of-prey in orbit of that planet while the science team was on the surface. ("The Search for Spock" [Movie #3]). The Grissom's communications officer was palyed by Mario Marcelino and the helm officer was portrayed by Jeanne Mori.

Gr'oth, I.K.S.
Klingon battleship, Akif-class battlecruiser. Commanded by Captain Koloth. The Gr'oth visited Deep Space Station K-7 in 2268 for shore leave. Before it left, the Gr'oth's engine room received an unexpected donation of several hundred thousand tribbles, for which watch officer Ensign Vasak took the blame. ("The Trouble with Tribbles" [TOS]; "Trials and Tribble-ations" [DS9 #104]; "Rules of Engagement" [Pocket TOS #48]).
Gryphon, U.S.S.
Federation starship, Akira-class heavy cruiser. Formerly commanded by Captain Elaine Mello. In 2376, the Gryphon's first officer, Commander Montenegro, was taken over by neural parasites which had previously conspired to take over Starfleet Command. Montenegro attempted to use the Gryphon to bombard the planet Trill, and murdered Captain Mello. He was stopped thanks to visiting observer Colonel Kira of the Bajoran militia. ("Demons of Air and Darkness" [Pocket Gateways #4]; "Lesser Evil" [Pocket DS9 Mission Gamma #4]).
G'Trok.
Klingon poet, author of The Fall of Kang. ("Second Sight" [DS9]).
Guardian of Forever.
A semi-sentient time portal located on the planet code named Gateway. ("The City on the Edge of Forever" [TOS]; "Yesterday's Son" [Pocket TOS]; "Time For Yesterday" [Pocket TOS]; "First Frontier" [Pocket TOS]; "Imzadi" [Pocket TNG HC]; "The Devil's Heart" [Pocket TNG HC]).
Guinan.
El-Aurian bartender on the starship Enterprise-D. Guinan was centuries old, having lived at least since the 1800s, where she lived on Earth for a period of time. Guinan's home planet was destroyed by the Borg in the late twenty-third century, and she was one of many refugees to evacuate that planet. She was on the transport ship Lakul, along with Tolian Soren, when it entered the Nexus and was destroyed in 2293. She and Soren were among the forty-seven passengers rescued by the starship Enterprise-B.  At some point Guinan had dealings with Q, although it is not clear when this occured and what the circumstances were. ("The Child" [TNG #27]). Played by Whoopi Goldberg.
