was made the leader of Omega Squadron and was a very promising student.
Kamilah was a Terran, from Earth's middle east region, the daughter of
an Arab and a Jew. Kamilah recognized that her parent's peoples were once
bitter enemies, and took it as proof that any sentient beings could live
in harmony, an attitude that took her far in the world of intercultural
relations required of the pre-war Starfleet Academy. Ironically, Goldstein's
idealism came to an end when she was killed in 2372 when involved in combat
with Kovold, a member of the Klingon training team First Cadre. Kamilah's
best friend, Cadet Pava Ek'noor, swore that she would kill Kovold, who

Montenegro attempted to use the Gryphon to bombard the planet Trill,
and murdered Captain Mello. He was stopped thanks to visiting observer

Guinan was centuries old, having lived at least since the 1800s, where
she lived on Earth for a period of time. Guinan's home planet was destroyed
by the Borg in the late twenty-third century, and she was one of many refugees
to evacuate that planet. She was on the transport ship Lakul, along
with Tolian Soren, when it entered the Nexus and was destroyed in 2293.
She and Soren were among the forty-seven passengers rescued by the starship
Enterprise-B.
At some point Guinan had dealings with Q, although it is not clear when
this occured and what the circumstances were. ("The Child" [TNG #27]).
