Federation starship, Belknap-class strike cruiser, Starfleet registry NCC-2519. The Raan's keel was laid down for construction on stardate 8511.72 at the Cameron Naval Facility on Deneb V. The vessel was launched on Stardate 8588.45 and commissioned on stardate 8621.37. In 2289 this vessel's home base was Starbase 7. Raan was involved in a classified operation from 04 May 2289 until 23 May when it put into Starbase 7 for an overhaul lasting until 18 June. On a training cruise under TacFleet command from 30 June to 19 August. Raan visited Ophiuchus colony on 27 August 2289, and left to rendezvous with the starship Essahir for the transfer of Klingon prisoners to Starbase 23 in September. Returned to Starbase 7 for stand-down and selected restricted availability until mid-December. (Ships of the Star Fleet).

Federation starship, Akira-class through-deck cruiser, Starfleet registry NCC-63293. (Fact Files). This vessel was only seen the the international Star Trek: Fact Files magazine.

Cardassian starship. The Rabol transported Gul Dukat to DS9 in 2372 so he could assist in the search for the missing vessel Ravinok. ("Indiscretion" [DS9 #77]).

Raging Queen, U.S.S.
Federation starship, Shelley-class carrier, Starfleet registry NCC-42284. The Raging Queen was a variant of a standard Shelley-class vessel used in the Dominion war. ("A Time to Stand" [DS9]). This is apparently a modification of the Curry, which was seen closeup in DS9. The nacelles have been rotated since that appearance and are attached differently. It is not known whether this model was used in the episode, but a studio photo exists depicting its odd structure, registry, and battle damage.

Captain of the starship Antares. Ramart's crew rescued the 17-year-old Charles Evans from planet Thasus in 2266, delivering him to the Enterprise. Ramart, along with the rest of his crew, was killed when Evans destroyed the Antares to prevent Ramart from warning Kirk about Evan's psychokinetic powers.("Charlie X" [TOS #7]). Played by Charles Stewart.

Captain of the Federation starship Valiant. In 2374, the Valiant took a group of 35 cadets from Starfleet Academy's elite Red Squad on a training cruise. Ramirez was seriously wounded in a Cardassian attack near El Gatark that took the lives of the ship's entire senior staff. Ramirez managed to repair his ship, ensuring the immediate survival of his remaining crew, but died a day later of his injuries, ordering cadet Tim Watters to take command of his vessel.
