T SECTION 1: T through Tc.

T-cell.: Type of white blood cell in humans that is responsible for identifying antigens and activation certain immune cells. A dormant T-cell allowed Reginald Barclay to contract Urodelean flu in 2370. A synthetic T-cell was genetically engineered to aid his body in fighting the infection, but unfortunately an unpredictably ruptured gene sequence caused the genetic manipulation virus to pass from him and wreak havoc, mutating most of the crew with what became known as Barclay's Protomorphosis Syndrome. ("Genesis" [TNG]).
T-cell stimulator.: Medical tool that stimulates the activity of T-cells to fight infection. ("Identity Crisis" [TNG]).
T-negative.: Rare Vulcan blood type. ("Journey to Babel" [TOS]).
T-9 energy converter.: Sophisticated power device. ("The Last Outpost" [TNG]).
T-Rogorans.: Civilization in the Gamma Quadrant. ("Sanctuary" [DS9]).
T-tauri type.: Type of star system. ("Clues" [TNG]).
Taar.: Ferengi who was DaiMon of the Marauder that raided Gamma Tauri IV. ("The Last Outpost" [TNG]). Played by Mike Gomez.
Tabor.: Bajoran, a former Maquis who was an ensign on the starship Voyager. Tabor worked on the holographic program simulating the Cardassian xenobiologist Crell Moset, where he reveals that Moset killed his brother and grandfather. He was part of Teero Anaydis' plot to control Voyager through a mind-controlled mutiny, and went to Tom Paris' 3-D double feature, including "Attack of the Lobster People." ("Nothing Human" [VGR]; "Repression" [VGR]). Played by Jad Mager.
Tabran monk.: Member of a monastic order known for extremely celibate lives. ("The Swarm" [VGR]).
TacFleet.: Branch of Starfleet responsible for tactically sensitive operations and military engagemants. (Ships of the Star Fleet [Mastercom]).
Tachira, U.S.S.: Federation starship, Arbiter-class perimeter action ship, Starfleet registry NCC-1066. Built by the starcraft design division of Seskon Trella in Chagala on Tellar, commissioned on stardate 7969.07. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol. 2).
tachyon.: Subatomic particle. ("Redemption" [TNG #100&101]).
tachyon detection grid.: ("Redemption" [TNG #100&101]).
tachyon eddies.: ("Explorers" [DS9 #68]).
tachyon scan.: ("The Pegasus" [TNG #164]).
T'Acog, I.K.S.: Klingon battleship, K't'inga-class battlecruiser. The T'Acog was dispatched to carry criminals Korris, Konmel and Kunivas to Qo'noS, but was destroyed by their commandeered ship, the Batris, in 2364. ("Heart of Glory" [TNG]).
Tagana.: ("The Muse" [DS9 #93]). Played by Patricia Tallman.
Tagas.: ("Hero Worship" [TNG #111]).
Taggert.: Starfleet captain, longtime commander of the starship Repulse. He was succeeded by his daughter, Ariel, in that position in 2366. ("Unnatural Selection" [TNG #33]; "Line of Fire" [Pocket SA #2]). Played by J. Patrick McNamara.
Taggert, Ariel.: Starfleet captain, commanding officer of the starship Repulse. ("Vendetta" [Pocket TNG Giant #2]).
Tagok.: ("Cloak and Dagger" [Marvel EV #5&6]).
Tagra IV.: ("True-Q" [TNG #132]).
Tagra Geoforming Co.: ("How Much for Just the Planet?" [Pocket TOS #36]).
Tagra-X.: ("How Much for Just the Planet?" [Pocket TOS #36]).
Tagrans.: ("True-Q" [TNG #132]).
Taguan.: ("Rascals" [TNG #133]).
Taguan effigies.: ("The Fallen" [Marvel EV #10&11]). It is unclear whether these artifacts originate in the Taguan archaeological period of Marlonia or the Taguan species of Tagus.
Taguans.: ("QPid" [TNG #94]).
Tahiti Syndrome.: ("The Paradise Syndrome" [TOS #58]).
Tahna Los.: ("Past Prologue" [DS9 #4]).
tai chi.: SEE: Mok'bara.
Taibak.: ("The Mind's Eye" [TNG #98]).
tailor shop.: ("Past Prologue" [DS9 #4]).
Tain, Enabran.: ("The Wire" [DS9 #42]; "Improbable Cause" [DS9 #65]; "The Die is Cast" [DS9 #67]; "In Purgatory's Shadow" [DS9 #112]). Played by Paul Dooley.
Tainer, Juliana.: ("Inheritance" [TNG #162]). Played by Fionnula Flanagan.
Tainer, Pran.: ("Inheritance" [TNG #162]). Played by William Lithgow.
Taitt.: ("Descent" [TNG #152&153]). Played by Alex Datcher.
Tajarhi, U.S.S.: Federation starship, Starfleet registry NCC-1783. (Technical Manual [TOS]).
Tajiri.: ("Dreams of the Raven" [Pocket TOS #34]).
Tajor.: ("Chain of Command" [TNG #136&137]). Played by Mic Rogers.
Tak Tak.: ("Macrocosm" [VGR #54]).
Tak Tak consul.: ("Macrocosm" [VGR #54]). Played by Albie Selznick.
Takana root tea.: ("The Quickening" [DS9 #95]).
Takar.: ("False Profits" [VGR #44]).
Takarans.: ("Suspicions" [TNG]).
Takeoka.: ("Dreams of the Raven" [Pocket TOS #34]).
Takula.: Leader of the Ziminda peoples of Chronian III. ("The Sentence" [DC TOS vol.2 #2]).
Tal.: Romulan subcommander, subordinate to the female Romulan commander who was captured by the starship Enterprise in 2268. He commanded a battle group of three Romulan owned Klingon cruisers that pursued Enterprise during its escape. ("The Enterprise Incident" [TOS]). Played by Jack Donner.
Tal Celes.: Bajoran crewperson aboard the starship Voyager. Tal is a sensor analyst 3rd class. According to proficiency reports, she was a substandard Starfleet crewman, given preferential treatment by the Federation, desperate to have Bajorans in the Fleet. She went on the Delta Flyer away mission, having not gone on one before as she never passed the proficiency tests. Was a friend of Telfer, and sought his help on work assignments. Her growth from the mission includes showing character, proving Janeway's comment about duty being more than algorithms to be true. When an energy being entered Voyager, she suspected Kim of being an impostor. She was kidnapped along with the rest of the crew by the Quarren, temporarily joining their workforce assigned to work the primary fusion chamber, along with Mulchaey. ("Good Shepherd" [VGR]; "The Haunting of Deck 12" [VGR]; "Workforce" [VGR]). Played by Zoe McClellan.
Tal Demica.: Homeworld of the Taldem race. ("Station Rage" [Pocket DS9 #13]).
Talbot, St. John.: ("The Final Frontier" [Movie #5]). Played by David Warner.
Taldem.: ("Station Rage" [Pocket DS9 #13]).
Talence, U.S.S.: Federation starship, Arbiter-class perimeter action vessel, Starfleet registry NCC-1062. Built by Singapore Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. in Singapore on Terra on 10 Sept 2288. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol. 2).
Tali, U.S.S.: Federation starship proposed during the 23rd century. This vessel's construction was cancelled, and it's registry was assigned to another vessel. (Technical Manual [Franz Joseph TOS]; Ships of the Star Fleet [Mastercom]). It's possible ships of these names were still built, of different classes and registry numbers. If built, this ship would have been Achernar-class, with the registry NCC-1751, according to the manuals.
Talin IV.: ("Prime Directive" [Pocket TOS HC #4]).
Tallera.: Vulcan separationist. ("Gambit" [TNG #156&157]).
Tallus IX: ("Chainmail" [Pocket Gateways #2]).
Talos IV.: Class-M planet in the Talos star group, home of the Talosian species. The planet had once been fertile, but was wracked by war as the inhabitants gained tremendous mental powers. The ecosystem is barely viable, and simply unable to support humanoid life for long periods of time. The Talosian people have moved underground to specially made habitats where they use mind control to attract and study other humanoid beings in an attempt to help terraform their world. The survey ship Columbia crashed here in 2236 with only one survivor, Vina, who was recovered by the Talosians and healed using their power of illusion. In 2254 the starship Enterprise recieved the Columbia's radio wave distress call and became the first Federation starship to survey this system. Talos star group.: Area of space where Talos IV is located. ("The Cage" [TOS unaired pilot]).
Talosian keeper.: Supervisor of the Talosian menagerie. ("The Cage" [TOS unaired pilot]; "The Menagerie" [TOS #15&16]; "Our Dearest Blood" [Marvel EV #3]). Played by Meg Wyllie and the voice of Malachi Throne.
Talosians.: Humanoid species native to Talos IV denoted by severely enlarged craniums and slight, pale colored bodies. ("The Cage" [TOS unaired pilot]; "The Menagerie" [TOS #15&16]; "Our Dearest Blood" [Marvel EV #3]). There were two primary Talosians shown on screen besides the keeper, one played by Georgia Schmidt and the voice of Robert C. Johnson and the other played by Serena Sande. The anthropoid ape and humanoid bird in the Talosian zoo were played by creature-maker Janos Prohaska.
Taluno.: 22nd century Bajoran kai. ("Emissary" [DS9 #1&2]).
Talza.: Rigellian, a supporter of a conservative movemnet to maintain that planets martial culture. Talza lured Christopher Pike into the Zemtar fortress in order to kill him and staged a Kaylar attack on his shore party, killing three including Captain's Yeoman Dermot Cusack. ("Our Dearest Blood" [Marvel EV #3]).
Tam.: Engineering crewperson on the starship Enterprise. ("Cloak" [Pocket TOS Section 31]).
Tamaak Vriis.: A Skedan, Tamaak was the elected One of the Ioh continent and leader of the Circle of the Seven. ("Seven of Nine" [Pocket VGR #16]).
Tamerlane, U.S.S.: Federation starship, Saladin-class destroyer, Starfleet registry NCC-510. (Technical Manual [TOS]).
Tamoon.: Female drill Thrall on the planet Triskelion. Tamoon was assigned to Pavel Chekov when he was captured there in 2266, and became quite fond of him, despite being unable to correctly pronounce his name. Tamoon was extremely tall, and had yellow skin, being an alien of unknown origin. ("The Gamesters of Triskelion" [TOS #46]). Played by Jane Ross.
t'an.: ("Alter Ego" [VGR]).
Tanaga, U.S.S.: Federation starship, Arbiter-class perimeter action vessel, Starfleet registry NCC-1079. Built by Singapore Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. in Singapore on Terra. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol. 2).
Tandarans.: Humanoid species native to the Tandaran sector. ("Detained" [ENT]).
Tang, Roger.: ("Imzadi" [Pocket TNG HC #2]; "The Siege" [Pocket DS9 #2]).
Tango.: Horse owned by Christopher Pike in Mojavé on Earth. Tango was part of a Talosian illusion created for him in their menagerie in 2254. ("The Cage" [TOS unaired pilot]).
Tantalus V.: Federation penal colony for the mentally disturbed. ("Dagger of the Mind" [TOS]).
Tanuga IV.: ("A Matter of Perspective" [TNG]).
Tanugans.: Humanoid species native to Tanuga IV. ("A Matter of Perspective" [TNG]).
Tanul.: City-state on Ssan. ("Shadows on the Sun" [Pocket TOS]).
Tanzian flu.: ("Parturition" [VGR]).
Tarahong detention center.: ("The Nagus" [DS9]).
Taranko colony.: ("Thine Own Self" [TNG]).
Tarbolde, Phineas.: Poet who made his home on Canopus Planet. ("Where No Man Has Gone Before" [TOS #1]; "The Muse" [DS9]).
Taris.: Romulan subcommander, commanding officer of the warbird Haakona. ("Contagion" [TNG]). Played by Carolyn Seymour.
Tarkus.: ("Red Sector" [Pocket TNG #53]).
Tarsus IV.: ("The Conscience of the King" [TOS #12]; "Best Destiny" [Pocket TOS HC #5]; "Avenger" [Pocket TOS HC #11]).
Tau Eridani.: ("Ishmael" [Pocket TOS #23]).
Taureans.: Species native to the planet Taurus II within the Murasaki disturbance.

Taya.: ("Shadowplay" [DS9]). Played by Noley Thornton.
Tazhat, I.K.S.: Klingon bird-of-prey. ("Rules of Engagement" [Pocket TOS #48]).
T'Cael Zaniidor Kilyle.: Romulan field primus. ("Final Frontier" [Pocket TOS Giant #3]).
T'Cel.: Romulan commander. ("Debt of Honor" [DC Graphic Novel #1]).
